Now thats what a command line should look like! Very capable program. Why not have some fun and style too? If you need SSH, this is the one.

This is a great app, but as a user if the Mac version of Cathode, I find that its missing some features. Mainly: bell sounds (seriously, not even a modern beep?), speed / baud rate control, and font size selection are the features Id from the Mac version Id like to see implemented here. In addition, Ive noticed some problems when the screen is rotated; it doesnt seem to be allowing "full screen" programs to discover the terminal size has changed (I tested it with TinyFugue, and vim). One more thing: its annoying to have tap twice to hide the keyboard.

The colorful interface is nice, but cathode truly shines in the peace of mind it gives you. Is there a system you babysit? Some tsk on a server you run sometimes? Cathode lets you do those things from anywhere with service. Suddenly, you can go to that music festival and not worry about something falling over in the middle.

Ive been using prompt1 and prompt2 on iPad for years. Yesterday I found this app, despite all those cool visual features(really love), it actually is a very practical terminal. My Macbook air has stopped running, I use this app ssh to my server, and code for whole day with apple bluetooth keyboard. One annoying bug: with switch back from other app, typing into the terminal doesnt work, I have to double click home button switching to multi-tasking mode and get back to this app, then everything works P.S. Im using iOS 9 beta2 on my iPad 3rd gen please fix this bug and improve this great app

This is a great app. The interface is really nice and it supports nearly all ssh functions. The only glaring omission is host key checking. This makes the app vulnerable to man-in-the-middle attacks. I hope this can be fixed in an upcoming release.

I use Cathode on my iPhone primarily for quick logins to check operation of field equipment. Very handy to not need to break out a laptop, and the interface is far superior to anything else Ive seen. Bonus: The vintage terminal look makes a huge impression with all the senior scientists.

This app is amazing. Its simple, its clean and it performs exactly as advertised. This app has been extremely good to me. I use it to ssh into my schools Linux server to do all my programming homework.
